from The College Years by Look Left

/

about

A faster paced track. Jared and Derek Had just started trying to write together. Jared didn't know a whole lot of chords yet. Derek hadn't played bass in a while. Now that your expectations are as low as possible check it out. It features Derek's first ever recorded bass solo.

lyrics

Being one without a reason
giving my reality
nothing, nothing never happens
killing individuality

won’t you scream it in my ear
wasted hope and wasted year

If it makes ya feel better just
Howl it out
clear the air and dispel the doubt
to cut through the grey you’ve gotta
scream and shout
get a hold of your other side and just
Howl it out

may I be wise enough to
know the difference between
what I cannot change and
what could break the stream

Yeah I’ll take it on my face
If you’ve got no better place

chorus

Red drips cold
blurring angry past
leaving, ripping, tearing
I come to you at last
