Lyrics for this one by Matt Royek. It has a good build to it.

lyrics

I opened up the cupboard today
Filing through what we had
I think it's gonna be the only way
I guess it really wasn't that bad

Looking back, it's been a while
The film grain can't hide my smile
Couple years, you call him yours
And I’ll shrug, and shut more doors

I'll light up the porch lamps
Hoping for some great unrest
But the men outside put the clamps
On the brightest, tightest and best

Looking back, it's been a while
The film grain can't hide my smile
Seven years, the rain still pours
And I shrug, and shut more doors

The fight was one I could not win
At least if I gave it enough
But it wasn't losing that killed within
But winning on your bluff

Looking back, it's been a while
The film grain can't hide my smile
Seven years, the rain still pours
And I shrug, and shut more doors

no I shut it if I can’t lock it then I’ll hafta
beat it outta you beat it outta you

Looking back, it's been a while
The film grain finally hides my smile
Twenty years, I couldn't ask for more
And I'll forget, and close the last door.
